Baja Mexican Cantina

I read somewhere that eating a slightly alkaline diet contributes to weight loss, while eating a highly acidic diet makes weight gain a sure thing. Vegetables are alkaline while meat and starch tend to be acidic. The key is to have a good mix. Some restos label starchy dishes as vegetarian simply because there's no meat in it even if there are no vegetables in the dish itself.

Looking at what's cooking at Baja, we see that they have some vegetarian food that has actual vegetables in it, and not just starch.

Nachos supreme (P 195.00)
Nachos drizzled with guacamole, sour cream and cheese
Instead of being loaded with beef, they put lots of guacamole in it.

Veggie burrito (P 205.00)
Beans, tomatoes, onions. bell peppers, lettuce and cheese wrapped in flour tortilla

Baja is located at Greenbelt.
