Bellini's

This Italian restaurant is one of Metro Manila's best kept secret. Tucked in a small corner just inside Marikina Shoe Expo in Cubao, Bellini's has its share of affictionados, and we just got converted too. The dishes were reasonably priced and decidedly authentic (it's being run by an Italian who entertains the guests by going from table to table).

For starters we'd recommend the antipasto (caprese - tomato, cheese and basil with pomodoro dip, PhP 500) and some asparagus soup (PhP 220), and then follow it up with the all veggies Alla Bellini Capriciosa pizza, PhP 500 for the large thin-crust pan.

For deserts, you can never miss picking the gelatos and the lemon sorbet. For choco lovers, try the curiously named Obama chocolate cake (PhP 200 a slice).
